    I love the quilt. Thanks so much for offering it. It dates from the failed attempt by the Smithsonian to have vintage museum quilts copied in China. The Smithsonian changed its plan due to outrage by historians and legions of quilters objecting to the China connection. Then the Smithsonian allowed American companies to reproduce fabrics from museum quilts so American quilters could make their own. But I still wanted the Bible quilt due to fascination of the design and maker Harriet Powers.
