New I4 vs old
To be honest I never had any issues with the original I4 only that it could not accomodate the 20700 - 21700 batteries. I bought this new i4 so that it could. This device overheats with 4 batteries at one time. When I say over heat I mean over heat. Accoring to the Nitecore website this has some sort of temperature control built in, " I dont see how". The old model never over heated. The best thing about the new model that I can see is that it charges quickly compared to the older model.
