Its what gamers have been waiting for
I am not an xbox fan boy nor am i a sony one at that ! I wont got bogged down with tettraflops teraflops goldylox and bollox ect !! Nor will i get into the whole exclusive games debate.
This because I DONT CARE about all that stuff !
All i want to do us play my games and have them look and play the best they can.
I have had and owned all the PlayStation and xbox's there's been and loved and hated things about all of them.
However i now have a console (dont care its an xbox) or (sony pro) but a console that will play the games (enhanced) version in 4k hdr at 60fps !
Ok some at this stage wont hit the markers !! So what its an amazingly powerful bit of hardware to play your games on.
They all get a vast performance boost ! Some more than others but i dont care.
I am a gamer and i want to play my games on the machine thats going to play them the best and thats the XBOX ONE X.
Is it good value ! That deepens on who's buying it ! I would say yes however i am sure others would disagree but compare it to the car market !!
Audi own volkswagen and skoda at the bottom you have the lower end skoda (xbox one) in the middle you have the Volkswagen (xbox one s) and at the top premium you got the Audi (xbox one x)
Its a way of hitting all three segments of the market.
They all drive but the top ones do it so much better and go so much faster and have all the extra equipment that makes them worth owning.
The xbox one isnt for everyone but it is for the ones who want to play multiplatform games that look play and feel better than any other console ( i do )
I have owned my scorpio eddition xbox one for 12 hours and played most xbox enhanced games for a while just to get to know what i am dealing with and its quite a machine i can tell you.
Just like getting i to a luxury brand top of the range car after sitting in a mediocre ford ! One is so much better at doing what it does.
Sorry for using the car analogies but its just a way of showing a comparison.
Like i say i am neither sony or xbox bias but i am games bias and just want them to play the best they can.
Xbox one x fulfils this for me by being an absolute fantastic piece of hardware, delivering on its promises.
Xbox one x is the console for the person who wants to play games that look play and sound the best whether you got a 4k hdr tv or not.
This is my review not as an xbox fan or indeed a sony one ! But as a gamer
