It does measure, and is reasonably accurate
The caliper does Measure & is reasonably accurate. But if is not very sturdy and I doubt it will survive a drop to the floor. It also turns on if it is move even slightly & arrived on. So Batteries will have to be replaced often. An off/on switch would be better, especially when measuring to approximations rather than to a tenth of a mm.
