What do you say about the Beatles before...
What do you say about the Beatles before they really were "The Beatles"? I think this is even before they were the "One After 909" band that failed their audition. (Probably) the Stuart Sutcliffe , Pete Best & leather jackets era. A restrained Beatles lacking direction and style. Milquetoast Beatles? They had to go to Germany (wearing a toilet seat around Paul's neck!) to gain style (lose Stuart & Pete&gain Ringo) and direction. So CD this is the early stuff, it isn't really even Beatles stuff
