I'm not sure whether the item I'm selling is allowed on eBay

There are some items that, due to legal restrictions and other considerations, aren't allowed or can only be listed under certain conditions. If you're not sure whether your item is allowed, you can learn why some items are prohibited or restricted and view a detailed list of items you can't sell.

 
I received an email that my account was suspended

I received an alert that a seller opened an unpaid item case against me

If you buy an item and the seller doesn't receive your payment for any reason, the seller can report the failure to pay. If you receive an unpaid item notification, it's important to respond quickly. If you don't address the seller's concerns or don't respond within 7 days, the case is escalated to our Trust and Safety team.

Find out how to appeal an unpaid item

Activity on eBay is required to follow this policy, the eBay User Agreement and all applicable laws, as well as respect the rights of third parties. If it doesn’t, eBay may take action consistent with applicable laws and the eBay User Agreement, and may even be legally required to do so. Such actions may include, as an example only: Removing the listing or other content, issuing a warning, restricting activity or account suspension.
